Care Instructions

  • Hand Wash Only: Never put this knife in the dishwasher. Wash by hand using warm water and a mild detergent, then immediately dry it thoroughly with a soft towel to prevent water spots.

  • Avoid Hard Foods: Do not use this knife to cut bones, frozen foods, ice, or extremely hard rinds (such as winter squash or coconuts), as this can easily cause the hard, thin edge to chip.

  • Proper Sharpening: Sharpening on water whetstones is highly recommended. To protect the geometry and integrity of the SG2 steel, avoid using honing rods, pull-through sharpeners, or electric sharpening machines.
